What it is
A thigh lift removes excess, loose skin from the inner (medial) thigh and, where needed, refines the contour with liposuction. It is most often chosen after significant weight loss, where skin no longer retracts on its own.
It improves contour and comfort but involves a scar, usually in the groin crease and sometimes extending down the inner thigh, depending on how much skin is removed. The trade-off between scar and contour is discussed carefully.
