What it is
Hip dips are natural inward depressions between the hip and the outer thigh, determined largely by bone structure and the way muscle and fat sit over it. Augmentation uses fat grafting to add volume to these hollows for a smoother, more continuous outline.
Because the depressions are partly skeletal, they cannot always be eliminated completely. Fat is harvested by liposuction, purified, and reinjected, and some of it is naturally reabsorbed, so the final result settles over a few months.
