Dr. Matteo Amoroso is a board-certified plastic surgeon in both Sweden and Italy, with over 20 years of clinical experience. Over the course of his career, he has spent several years working at two of Sweden's leading university hospitals: Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm and Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg.
With a strong academic background and university hospital experience, Dr. Amoroso has developed solid expertise in advanced reconstructive microsurgery of the head and neck region, breast reconstruction, body contouring and gender-affirming surgery. He has also completed advanced international training at respected institutions in Taiwan, Japan and South Korea.
