Breast augmentation with fat transplantation, also called fat grafting, uses your own fat to add volume to the breast. Fat is taken from an area such as the abdomen, flanks, or thighs by gentle liposuction, processed, and injected into the breast in small amounts to build a soft, natural fullness.
Because it uses your own tissue, the result feels natural and avoids an implant entirely. The trade-off is that the size increase is modest, usually within roughly one cup, and not all of the transferred fat survives.
