What it is
Breast asymmetry correction addresses noticeable differences between the breasts in size, shape, position, or nipple height. Some asymmetry is normal in everyone, but more marked differences can be present from development, can follow pregnancy or weight change, or can result from previous surgery or conditions such as tuberous breast.
Because each breast is different, correction is rarely the same on both sides. The plan may combine procedures, for example an implant on one side and a lift on the other, a reduction of the larger breast, fat transfer to even volume, or different implant sizes. The aim is closer balance, not identical breasts, which are not achievable.
