What it is
Preservé Breast Augmentation® is a less invasive augmentation system developed with the implant manufacturer Motiva. It uses purpose-built instruments to create the implant pocket with as little tissue disruption as possible, placing a Motiva Ergonomix2 implant above the muscle through a small incision using a no-touch technique.
Because the implant sits above the muscle, the chest muscle is not cut, and the technique aims to preserve the breast's natural tissue, support ligaments, and nerve sensation. Less disruption is intended to mean a smaller scar, less swelling and discomfort, and a faster, more comfortable recovery than traditional augmentation. Many patients can have the procedure without general anesthesia.
Preservé is a specific surgical approach tied to the Motiva implant system rather than a different implant material. It is designed for a natural, subtle enhancement, often around one to two cup sizes. It remains surgery performed in an accredited setting, results vary, and it is not suitable for everyone.
